Treatment algorithm
The BiPAP AirCurve 10 VAuto provides 2 levels of air pressure: high pressure when inhaling and low pressure when exhaling. Approximately pressure support up to 10 cmH2O , helps users exhale gently while undergoing treatment at high air pressure, suitable for people who are sensitive to strong air pressure.
The VAuto algorithm will automatically detect events during sleep: snoring, narrowed airways, obstructed airways . Depending on the level of events, the machine will automatically adjust the air pressure blown into the respiratory tract to help open the airways, helping the user breathe normally and have deep sleep.
Comfort feature
- Usage is extremely simple, comfortable and convenient. Just put on the mask, breathe and the machine will operate automatically (Smart Start) . After waking up one night, take off the mask and the machine will automatically stop (Smart Stop) . All other features of the machine are automatically adjusted.
- The machine automatically synchronizes and simulates the user’s natural breathing rhythm (Easy Breath) . Adjustable inhalation/exhalation sensitivity (Trigger / Cycle / Ti Control), creating the most comfort for each user.
- The Ramp feature (Ramp Time) allows adjusting the waiting time for the user to fall asleep, at which time the air pressure gradually increases to the treatment pressure level.
- The machine operates smoothly, no sound can be heard. This helps users feel comfortable and fall asleep easily, especially for people who have difficulty sleeping.
- AirCurve 10 VAuto has an integrated air humidifier and air heating unit (Auto Climate Control) so that users do not have a dry nose or mouth when waking up. The adjustment is also completely automatic, not affected by the surrounding environment.
Report
After each night of use, the machine will report treatment effectiveness right on the machine’s screen or in the MyAir software on the phone. Indicators such as: machine usage time, remaining apnea index ( AHI ), mask air leakage, average air pressure during the night; breathing rate, tidal volume, expiratory pressure; Average indexes over long periods. Treatment results will be saved to an SD memory card throughout the year, thereby helping to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
The AirCurve 10 VAuto also has integrated network connectivity, helping it connect to ResMed’s AirView cloud system. Doctors or technicians can monitor the treatment process and make necessary adjustments remotely via the Internet. Relatives can also monitor usage efficiency remotely on the MyAir application.
